On July 24 of this year, representatives of BMB HOLDING held a meeting with Mr. Takayuki Kurita, Advisor to the Japanese consulting company ICONS Co., Ltd.
At the onset of the discussion, the parties engaged in a comprehensive exchange of views on the economic reforms underway in Uzbekistan, new opportunities being created for the private sector, the development of investment projects in line with international standards, and the integration of Japan’s advanced expertise.
During the meeting, a presentation was delivered highlighting BMB HOLDING’s diversified operations, investment potential, and key role in the economy of Uzbekistan.
Furthermore, it was highlighted that the Holding is currently implementing a range of initiatives aimed at developing tourism infrastructure, optimizing transport and logistics solutions, and introducing modern management mechanisms.
During the talks, both sides explored opportunities to further strengthen long-term cooperation between Uzbekistan and Japan, focusing on technology transfer, innovative solutions, human capital development, and leveraging best practices in sustainable development.
In turn, representatives of ICONS Co., Ltd. presented their consulting background and provided detailed insight into their capabilities in developing economic development programs, coordinating technical assistance mechanisms, evaluating projects, and collaborating with international development institutions.
Following the meeting, which took place in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere, the parties agreed to further advance Uzbek-Japanese cooperation and continue their dialogue across promising areas of engagement.
