On July 28 of this year, a business forum was held in Bishkek, aimed at further developing trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, expanding industrial cooperation, and strengthening investment collaboration.
The event was attended by Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlis Akunbekov, as well as representatives of government agencies of the two countries, investment institutions, major companies, and business communities.
The forum addressed key issues related to the development of industrial cooperation, expansion of trade and economic ties, attraction of investments, enhancement of export potential, and implementation of promising joint projects.
The significant event was attended by Deputy General Director of BMB HOLDING Khayrulla Nabijonov. During the panel session titled “Development of Cooperation in Agriculture and Food Industry”, Kh. Nabijonov delivered a presentation highlighting the Holding’s activities in the agro-industrial sector, including projects on agricultural production, deep processing, export-oriented development, and the implementation of modern technologies.
It was emphasized that expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in the agro-industrial sector, exchanging experience, establishing joint production chains, and increasing export potential represent some of the key priorities of economic cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, new cooperation opportunities in the areas of investment, logistics, industrial cooperation, and foreign trade were discussed within the framework of B2B and G2B meetings. Participants highlighted the important role of the private sector in further strengthening bilateral relations.
The participation of BMB HOLDING in this business forum became another practical step within the Holding’s consistent efforts to develop regional economic cooperation, strengthen international partnerships, and create new opportunities in the fields of agro-industry, exports, and investment.
