A NEW STEP TOWARDS THE MARKETS OF CHINA AND THE MIDDLE EAST

On August 7 of this year, negotiations were held via videoconference between Bobir Yakhyaev, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of BMB HOLDING, and Liu Yulin, International Business Partner of Middle East (Saudi Arabia) Dragon World Holding Group and Chairman of Shanghai Walfman Information Technology Co., Ltd.

During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on the large-scale economic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, measures aimed at further improving the investment climate, and ongoing efforts to support the private sector. They also discussed promising avenues for expanding trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan, China, and Saudi Arabia.

One of the key topics of the negotiations was the expansion of exports of saffron and saffron-based products manufactured by BMB HOLDING to the markets of China and Saudi Arabia. The parties thoroughly reviewed mechanisms for promoting these products in international markets, establishing new trade channels, and strengthening export cooperation.

The discussions also covered prospects for supplying saffron-based products to leading Chinese pharmaceutical companies, including Harbin Pharmaceutical Group, Yunnan Baiyao Group, and China Resources Sanjiu Medical & Pharmaceutical Group, as well as opportunities for developing commercial and technological cooperation in this field.

In addition to the above-mentioned areas, the parties exchanged detailed views on prospective cooperation in the development of the pharmaceutical industry, the introduction of advanced technologies, the localization of agricultural machinery production, the implementation of investment projects in the mining sector, and the manufacturing of specialized transport vehicles.

At the conclusion of the online negotiations, which were held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, the parties agreed to develop long-term strategic cooperation and to implement joint projects on a phased basis.
