On September 29 of this year, with the support of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bobir Yakhyayev, Director of the Investment Projects Consulting Department at BMB HOLDING, held a meeting with representatives of Bpifrance, the French state-owned investment bank Pavlo Stergard, Deputy Head of the MENA, Türkiye and Central Asia division, and Amandine Saint-Loup, Regional Advisor for the MENA region.
 
The meeting focused on the current state of Uzbekistan-France relations, opportunities to expand investment cooperation, as well as the activities of BMB HOLDING and its ongoing investment projects.
 
Within the framework of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and France, particular attention is being paid to strengthening trade and economic relations, investment cooperation and industrial partnerships. In March 2025, the leaders of the two countries adopted a Joint Declaration on the establishment of strategic partnership relations in Paris. Agreements were also reached on the implementation of prospective cooperation projects with leading French companies, with a total value of EUR 6.5 billion.
 
Against this backdrop, the development of dialogue with Bpifrance is particularly relevant in terms of identifying financial mechanisms to support investment initiatives and translate them into practical projects.
 
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in financing BMB HOLDING projects, implementing joint projects with French companies, attracting advanced French technologies and modern equipment, as well as providing financial support for export activities.
 
The parties also exchanged views on jointly reviewing promising investment projects, exploring financing opportunities and identifying specific areas for further cooperation.
 
Expanding investment and technological cooperation with France will contribute to strengthening BMB HOLDING’s ties with international financial institutions and foreign business communities, while facilitating the introduction of advanced financial solutions and technologies into promising projects being implemented in Uzbekistan.
