On September 29 of this year, Bobir Yakhyayev, Director of the Investment Projects Consulting Department at BMB HOLDING, held a meeting with Sodnom Bekhbat, Honorary Consul of Mongolia and the Philippines in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting focused on opportunities to export Uzbek products to the markets of Mongolia and the Philippines, as well as to import products from these countries that are in demand in the Uzbek market.
The Honorary Consul was provided with detailed information about the activities of BMB HOLDING, its production capacities, products and services. In particular, the parties discussed opportunities for supplying and marketing fruit, vegetable and melon products in the Mongolian market.
In recent years, relations between Uzbekistan and Mongolia have reached a new level, with particular attention being paid to the development of trade and economic ties and industrial cooperation. In 2025, relations between the two countries were elevated to the level of a comprehensive partnership. Within this framework, the two sides have identified priorities for expanding the volume and range of mutual trade, including increasing exports of Uzbek fruit, vegetables and food products to Mongolia.
In this context, BMB HOLDING’s initiative to supply agricultural and food products to the Mongolian market is aimed at contributing to the practical development of economic ties between the two countries.
At the same time, the parties discussed opportunities to import meat and meat products, as well as potatoes, from Mongolia to Uzbekistan. Developing this area of cooperation could not only increase bilateral trade volumes but also diversify sources of product supplies.
With regard to cooperation with the Philippines, the parties exchanged views on exporting Uzbek products to the Philippine market, as well as opportunities to import bananas, mangoes and other tropical fruits.
To familiarize him with the activities of the Holding’s enterprises, their production capacities and products, Mr. Sodnom Bekhbat was invited to visit BMB HOLDING’s enterprises. The visit will also provide an opportunity to discuss promising areas of export and import cooperation.
The dialogue marked another practical step towards expanding BMB HOLDING’s export geography, entering new international markets and developing mutually beneficial trade relations with Mongolia and the Philippines.
