On May 5 of this year, an official reception was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the United States for participants of the SelectUSA Investment Summit.

The event was attended by the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov, U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce David Fogel, Chairman of the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce Carolyn Lamm, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the United States Furkat Sidikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Uzbekistan Jonathan Henick, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING Bekzod Mamatkulov, as well as other entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan.

As part of the event, extensive networking sessions were held, during which participants exchanged views on strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, exploring new investment areas, and implementing joint projects.

During the discussions, particular attention was given to expanding investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States, implementing major strategic projects, and enhancing the role of the private sector in the development of business diplomacy. In addition, specific initiatives were proposed to deepen bilateral business relations and further improve the investment climate.

Following the event, participants exchanged constructive views and reached agreements on the implementation of joint investment projects and the development of long-term partnerships.
