On June 18, within the framework of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum, a meeting was held between Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Founders Board of BMB HOLDING, and Alibek Kuantyrov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the negotiations, the parties particularly noted that the friendly relations, strategic partnership, and allied ties between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have been steadily developing in recent years and are reaching a new level. It was emphasized that, thanks to the open and constructive policies pursued by the leaders of both countries, cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres continues to expand dynamically.
The parties discussed further strengthening cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, increasing mutual investments, and implementing joint projects. In particular, they exchanged views on prospective areas of cooperation in agribusiness, tourism, the food industry, export-import operations, logistics, and other promising sectors.
The participants underscored the importance of effectively utilizing the existing potential, strengthening business ties, and supporting mutually beneficial initiatives. In addition, the parties discussed Bekzod Mamatkulov’s upcoming visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, scheduled for August this year. The Kazakh side expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive support in organizing meetings, facilitating effective engagement with business representatives, and establishing new partnership contacts.
Following the meeting, which was also attended by Beibut Atamkulov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Uzbekistan, the parties agreed to continue their dialogue on further developing trade, economic, and investment cooperation, establishing new partnerships, and implementing mutually beneficial projects.
