On 20 July, representatives of BMB HOLDING held a meeting with Ms. Zhang Hongping, Head of theXinjiang Asia-Europe International Trading Center (AEEX) of the People’s Republic of China.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the comprehensive strategic partnership between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the People’s Republic of China has been steadily strengthening in recent years, while bilateral economic cooperation continues to gain momentum. The participants noted that the dialogue served as an important platform for further expanding practical cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, strengthening trade and economic relations, and implementing new joint initiatives.

During the negotiations, the parties were introduced to the capabilities of AEEX in the fields of international trade, logistics, e-commerce, and marketing, as well as the range of services the center provides to its international partners.

Particular attention was given to promoting Uzbekistan’s export-oriented agricultural products in the Chinese market. Specifically, the parties discussed opportunities to supply mung beans, chickpeas, red beans, and white beans to Chinese consumers through the AEEX trade and logistics platform. It was also noted that Uzbekistan has currently obtained phytosanitary and veterinary approvals for the export of 27 categories of products to China. This creates a solid legal and practical foundation for further expanding trade in agricultural products between the two countries.

The parties also exchanged views on combining BMB HOLDING’s investment and export potential with the capabilities of the AEEX international trade platform, organizing international exhibitions, business forums, B2B meetings, trade missions, and jointly developing promising export and investment projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, which was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, both sides highly appreciated the dialogue as an important practical step toward developing a long-term strategic partnership.
