On August 6, another round of negotiations was held via videoconference between Khayrulla Nabijonov, Deputy General Director of BMB HOLDING, and Ms. Faten Jaafar, Executive Director of the Malaysian company Jaafar Industries SDN. BHD.
The dialogue served as a logical continuation of the meeting held on July 15 at the BMB HOLDING headquarters, where the parties discussed the practical implementation of previously reached agreements and identified specific areas for further cooperation.
During the negotiations, the parties reviewed opportunities for exporting Uzbekistan’s fruit and vegetable products to the markets of Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries, as well as expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
The discussions also focused on strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector, particularly through the implementation of joint projects and the exchange of expertise in the field of medical tourism.
In addition, the parties exchanged views on the introduction of modern waste processing technologies and the production of alternative energy sources based on recycled waste. They also discussed the development and implementation of promising investment projects with the participation of Malaysian investors.
At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to consistently expand practical cooperation in the identified areas, develop concrete joint projects, and further strengthen partnership ties between the business communities of Uzbekistan and Malaysia.
