Today, systematic efforts are being implemented in various sectors of the country’s economy, aimed at developing international cooperation and attracting foreign investment. In particular, there is a noticeable growth in bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Italy. A clear example of this is the fact that representatives of large private sector entities from both countries are launching several successful projects based on mutual interest.
As a continuation of the aforementioned efforts, on May 23 of this year, negotiations were held via videoconference between the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BMB HOLDING, Bekzod Mamatkulov, and the President of HT HOLDING, Roberto Tucci.
The meeting primarily focused on issues of further expanding saffron plantation areas and increasing the production of high-quality saffron raw materials and products derived from it. Strategic plans for diversifying the geography of product exports and increasing export potential were also discussed.
To enhance the agro-industrial potential of our country and ensure food security, the possibilities of establishing mutual cooperation and exchanging advanced international experience in the creation of greenhouse complexes based on modern, innovative technologies were explored.
Additionally, views were exchanged on the strategic importance and promising directions for implementing an investment project with the prestigious Swiss company “Stadler,” which is of great significance for the economy of Uzbekistan.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on HT HOLDING President Roberto Tucci’s visit to Uzbekistan in the first half of June this year and outlined future plans for the discussed areas.
