In our country, special attention is being paid to the development of agriculture, particularly the fruit and vegetable sector, which includes interconnected stages such as production, processing, storage, service provision, and export. In this regard, key priorities have been defined as the development of cluster systems, ensuring food security, and increasing export potential.

To achieve these goals, the company “BMB Cherry Garden”, which is part of BMB HOLDING, has launched the development of modern intensive orchards on 500 hectares of previously abandoned, dried-out, and uncultivated land located in the Gallaorol and Sharof Rashidov districts of the Jizzakh region. Notably, there are plans to expand the area of these orchards to 2,000 hectares over the next two years.

The project includes planting cherry seedlings of both local and Dutch varieties, grown through the invitro method and known for their high export potential, using advanced agrotechnologies. A modern drip irrigation system will also be introduced to ensure the efficient use of water resources.

Currently, work has begun in the orchard zone on land preparation, improvement of road infrastructure, and construction of essential infrastructure facilities for workers including an administrative building, dormitories, a kitchen, and storage warehouses for temporary holding of produce.

This project is one of BMB HOLDING’s latest major initiatives in the agro-industrial sector, and its full implementation will not only create new jobs, but also make a significant contribution to increasing the export volume of fruit and vegetable products.
