On 26 June, representatives of BMB HOLDING held a meeting with Zhao Yanyan, Secretary General of the Sichuan Chongqing Business Association in Uzbekistan, and Wei Gang, Cultural Affairs Advisor to the Association.
At the outset of the meeting, the parties highlighted the steady strengthening of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China in recent years, noting that interregional cooperation and direct business ties have reached a new level of development.
The Chinese delegation was presented with detailed information on the ongoing economic reforms in Uzbekistan, measures aimed at further improving the investment climate, as well as BMB HOLDING’s major projects in the fields of agribusiness, the food industry, export and import operations, logistics, and tourism.
During the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to organize a meeting at BMB HOLDING in September this year with a delegation of leading Chinese entrepreneurs from Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality, who are scheduled to visit Uzbekistan on a business mission. In addition, familiarization tours to the Za’faron Premium Hotel complexes located in the Bostanlyk and Zaamin districts will be arranged for the visiting delegation.
The participants also discussed the organization of press and familiarization tours involving leading media outlets and tour operators from Sichuan Province, with the aim of promoting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential internationally, as well as implementing joint projects in the field of MICE tourism.
Furthermore, the Chinese guests visited the BMB HOLDING showroom, where they highly appreciated the quality and export potential of the company’s products. Particular attention was given to the prospects for exporting mung beans, white beans, and red beans to the Chinese market, as well as to opportunities for establishing the joint production of saffron tea in cooperation with producers from Sichuan Province.
The meeting concluded in a constructive and friendly atmosphere. The parties agreed to continue their dialogue on expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, implementing joint projects, and strengthening long-term business partnerships.
